Your final submission will be checked by the PC chairs. Please try to address the reviewers’ comments (especially comments on presentation) and comply strictly with the formatting guidelines.

Demonstration Submissions

The EC-TEL Demonstration is your chance to fully engage EC-TEL attendees at a personal level by letting them see, touch, squeeze, or hear your visions for the future of TEL. We expect that your Demonstration will be a reliably running prototype of your vision ready to be tried out, questioned, interacted with, etc. In particular, we encourage Demonstration submissions that complement an EC-TEL Paper submission, so that attendees can get a direct experience of your work in addition to the scientific presentation.

Demonstration submissions consist of 3 parts:

  1. Short Paper (6 pages): Please refer to the guidelines on short paper submissions for formatting. The paper should give a good overview of the key concepts and the innovative funcitonality of your prototype. The paper will be published whithin the EC-TEL proceedings. Thus, this paper gives you the unique opportunity to present your prototype in a holistic way.
  2. Video Trailer or remote access to the Prototype: The trailer should be 1-5 minutes in length and clearly illustrate your key concept. It could for example be a screen cast of the running prototype showing the most relevant functionality of the system. If the prototype is remotely available, then provide us with the URL and access information and a short description on how to use it.
  3. Technical Requirements: Please describe in detail which technical requirements you have in order to show your prototype at EC-TEL. We will only be able to provide: a table, internet connection, and a poster wall

Submissions will be handled through EasyChair. Deadline for submission is 11 April 2010 18 April 2010, 23:59 CEST. For further information, see the Call for Papers.
