The Telematic Applications and Services Group (gast) is part of the Department of Telematic Engineering Department of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. The main research lines of gast are in the areas of e-learning, pervasive computing, intelligent environments, distributed real-time systems and Web technologies.

Approximately 50 researchers make up the gast group, grouped in 4 research labs.
